The Utility Clerk ensures that the shop is kept in a clean and orderly state in accordance with company policy. Customers are served, groceries are transported, items are located, and prices are verified. Maintains a clean and safe retail environment for customers by performing a variety of customer service tasks.

  • helping with spill clean-ups, and other regular housekeeping tasks that need the use of specialized equipment are examples of routine cleaning and store maintenance activities.
  • Customer service is maintained by welcoming customers, answering queries, and carrying groceries as requested.
  • responsible for collecting and storing the shopping carts at the store. Maintains a tidy parking lot and informs with management about any incidents, actions, or concerns that occur on the store’s premises.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance by examining equipment thoroughly and notifying the relevant department or store manager of any defective goods.
  • The floor scrubber, garbage compactor, and cardboard baler equipment are to be operated in a safe and efficient way in accordance with established safety requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains excellent product presentation by arranging merchandise in allocated space, removing cardboard from shelves when product is bought, and depositing the cardboard into a bailer as needed (see Job Description).
  • all of the proper documentation and deposits must be completed. It is monitored and generates billing bills on a monthly basis. The Water Crane is assigned with the responsibility of collecting donations.
  • Supply and load printer paper and ribbons; publish notices and bulletins; complete and distribute reports; and do other clerical chores as requested.
  • Maintaining your knowledge of the products available in the various departments is essential if you want to be able to respond to inquiries and provide product suggestions.
  • Adheres to Company safety regulations to keep the working and shopping environment clean, safe, and hygienic. Observes all Company rules and procedures.


  • Multitasking between phone calls and clients at a company. This job takes a lot of attention to detail because of the significance of data correctness. Personal computers and calculators are required tools for applicants. Skills in dealing with people and a desire to give back to the community are prerequisites.
  • Equivalent of one to three months of comparable work experience and/or training, or a combination of high school diploma and general education degree (GED).
  • To be able to read and write English in a clear and concise way. The ability to communicate effectively with the public and one’s coworkers is essential.
  • Understanding and ability to read and interpret brief communications and memoranda. Correspondence writing skills. Skills in one-on-one communication and small-group presentations to business partners, customers, and coworkers.
  • The capacity to employ whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals while multiplying or dividing in all units of measurement. Take into account percentages and ratios as well as the rate of change in your data. The ability to count back change, money, and the balance of a cash drawer is essential.
