Job Description
Our company is in need of a Tax Associate. This position will help in the preparation of the company’s tax returns and give assistance during audits of the company’s taxes. Directly participate in the company’s day-to-day tax and accounting functions. I’m in charge of all parts of customer service relating to our clients and their accounts.

Qualifications:
- Analyze and explain complex tax problems to clients, write memorandums, and produce client letters.
- It’s important to look at the balances of income taxes that are due and those that aren’t, as well as the general ledger accounts for the Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) and the general ledger accounts for taxes that are due and those that aren’t, like international withholding and franchise taxes.

- Ensure that all tax compliance and filing requirements are met, and assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions of time to file, forecasted tax payments, and other tax compliance activities.
- Maintains rigorous compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as with applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering legislation.
Skills:
- Possess proven ability to efficiently manage many tasks and procedures while adhering to tight deadlines, both on a personal and professional level.
- Position needs a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA certification, as well as 3-6 years of tax experience at a big CPA firm and/or a public company’s corporate tax department.
- In order to adequately accomplish job responsibilities, a dependable mode of transportation to and from work, meetings, client interactions, and other events is required.
- The capacity to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals. Possessing the competence to draft regular correspondence and reports. Clear and succinct responses to questions from colleagues and the general public. The ability to successfully communicate ideas to others is essential. A thorough understanding of all measurement systems and the ability to perform basic math operations on all of them using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Calculation of rates, ratios, and percentages; ability to create and understand bar graphs.
- Use of a personal computer, printer, copy machine, and facsimile machine are all included. Excel, Word, and Access are all examples of software skills. Computer skills are beneficial.
