- Verifies accounting source documents are correct, thorough, and meet all departmental and federal agreements and regulations by carefully going over them.
- It is in charge of producing and keeping up-to-date Excel spreadsheets to keep track of monthly costs that must be settled through the accounting system.
- Examine the accounts of vendors and negotiate longer terms with them when money is limited.
- Good communication and management of cash flow issues are essential. Cash management includes keeping track of accounts receivable and payables, cash on hand, and ensuring that deposits are made on time. In addition, cash flow statements must be prepared correctly and on schedule.
- Entry of direct bill commission data, including uploading of statements to a subsidiary portal.
- Assist with month-end closing duties, including preparation of journal entries and entry of journal entries.
- Look at any deviations from the plan or from the prior year, remark on them, and provide management practical improvement strategies.
- Identifies, examines, and reports any system, document, or accounting concerns that arise throughout the audit’s preparation and completion.
- Enter into the system any accounts payable invoices due for payment.
- Verify computations, signatures, codes, and documentation to ensure they are followed.
- Be able to compute a wide range of numbers and quantities such as discount percentages, commissions, ratios, and volume The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide must be strong.
- Must be trustworthy, adaptable, and eager to collaborate. Must be motivated to take on new challenges and possess a strong work ethic.
- It is essential to be able to prioritize, organize, and complete work under time constraints.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
- High level expertise in office management or similar subjects.
