Our Management Accounting department is looking for a highly trained and driven expert to join our team. This non-exempt role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements and actively contributing to the creation and transmission of business insights. The Director of Financial and Management Accounting is directly responsible for this salaried exempt post.

Qualifications:
- Active involvement with operational management to identify underlying business concerns and ensure IFRS compliance of product line financial reporting.
- Take on additional jobs as needed. These responsibilities may involve tasks that fall under different job categories.
- Contribute to the development of new reporting formats that allow operational management teams to quickly identify the elements that affect financial performance.
- Produce balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports that demonstrate the current and expected financial health of the company.
- To establish general ledger account entries that represent company operations, collect and analyze financial data.
- Completing the necessary balance sheet account reconciliations and other financial control practices.
- Consolidated quarterly financial reporting and supplementary schedules, schedule creation, and associated document creation are all done to assist external audit procedures.
- Ensure that accounting and control processes are documented and implemented in a timely manner. Provide guidance and assistance to franchisees and employees on the best practices and processes for using industry software accounting.
- For each product line, a monthly management reporting package contains financial statements (income statement, balance sheet), together with commentary on the underlying causes of performance.
- Attend product line team meetings on a regular basis to stay up to date on the company’s priorities, as well as to build connections with other members of the team. As needed, gather and present appropriate financial information.
Skills:
- A minimum of one to three years of experience in cost accounting is required, although it is not a must.
- Persons of all ages, genders, sexual orientations and nationalities, as well as people with different abilities and religious affiliations and languages, are all included in the varied communities in which the candidate has shown expertise working.
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or have the capacity to get one via training and experience.
- Excel expertise is a must, particularly with Microsoft Office. An advantage, is familiarity with SAP and Hyperion. Working under tight deadlines with a variety of internal customers is essential.
- Onestream and Microsoft Navision (NAV) or Dynamics NAV General Ledger experience is a bonus.
