Job Description

To assist with the administrative and general office needs of the Cell Therapy Program, which includes the cGMP facility and research operations, we are looking for a dynamic Program Administrator. The current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility at the university will focus on producing cell and gene treatments and other biological products for both internal and external clients. Job responsibilities include acquiring and summarizing data from various sources to evaluate program success, as well as planning and executing day-to-day administrative tasks as directed by the program director.

Qualifications:

  • ensures that sensitive information, such as faculty and staff personnel files, remain private and that only authorized individuals have access to them.
  • Work with faculty, other offices, and collaborating institutions to assist in the management of all aspects of the program.
  • develops and oversees program budgets, and makes recommendations or final allocation calls. makes demands for updates on the company’s financial situation.
  • Program operating and administrative policies are developed and administered by this department. Oversees the communication, interpretation, and implementation of program policies, and occasionally suggests or grants waivers.
  • Assists in contracts and grants administration. Monitors budgets, prepares and submits reports. Interacts with university contract administrators and funding agency officers to provide information, resolve problems and coordinate on-site visits.
  • Conducts research and compiles information for use in departmental reports. Identifies key facts and trends through early analysis. The report’s structure and contents are recommended based on how well they will present the results.

Skills:

  • Having a bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. Four more years of related work experience may be considered as an alternative.
  • shown skill in managing a company’s finances, resources, and budget.
  • Ability with computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation and editing, and online meeting tools like Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience in the field for at least three (3) years is essential.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management abilities, a highly collaborative work style, and excellent communication skills.
