The Senior Copywriter is the communications team’s chief wordsmith, responsible for attracting and retaining members through persuasive written content. All over the place, online and off, we need to have copy written, edited, and refined regarding our products and services. The Senior Copywriter takes a creative approach to projects and looks for chances to enhance our messaging in addition to assuring the accuracy and brand consistency of our content.

- Make sure that all messages are delivered on time, using clear, concise language, and in line with the Elevations brand voice.
- Copywriting assignments often require study into other industries’ products or services before adequate language can be developed.
- Create and revise written content to back up business, marketing, and editorial initiatives.
- Drive the website content development process as well as high-level, strategic messaging for big projects.
- It’s important to pose insightful questions to innovative leaders while seeking direction.
- Maintain media rules and serve as the PR agency’s day-to-day coordinator.
- Gather and incorporate input on written content from various internal and external partners through collaborative efforts.
- Become familiar with different brand voices and develop your own while contributing creative, college-level writing.
- Collaboration on content preparation and evaluation helps support all channels of communication (email, social, blog, digital banking, lead generation, PPC, branch marketing, and public relations).
- Uphold and enhance brand standards for writing in its established tone and style.
- Using knowledge, imagination, and forethought, one can solve problems and seek business opportunities.
- Have a solid grasp of presentation software and plenty of practice speaking in front of a wide range of audiences (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- It would be preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, or another relevant field.
- familiarity with collaborating on the creation of marketing materials with designers, project managers, and third-party vendors.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in writing, communications, and/or marketing.
