Job Description
Information architecture and the user experience are two key responsibilities of a UX Designer. If you’re interested in working in ecommerce, this is the position for you. You’ll be collaborating with a variety of people, including a director of creative services and an art director.

Qualifications:
- Work with project partners to grasp precise requirements and build entire user experiences.
- Involve yourself in the design process by collaborating with high-quality engineering, development, or marketing teams.
- Creating conceptual diagrams, site maps, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, user testing, personas, content inventories, and other associated functional specifications
- Solve complex problems analytically by working closely with developers and analysts on the implementation of designs that have been authorized. Build on current frameworks and create new techniques to generate design systems.
- Work in tandem with the other members of the design team to tackle any and all areas of user-centered design, such as information architecture, task analysis, user flows and stories, navigation, content hierarchies, interface design, and the development of operational prototypes.
- Develop design ideas and collaborate with other teams to determine which of them should be developed further into comprehensive designs and put into production based on the results of usability testing, established methods, and feedback from technical experts.
- With the help of Product Managers, Subject Experts, and Developers, you’ll help us transform customer demands into practical and exciting processes and interfaces.
- Use the principles of human factors and cognition to make tools, systems, tasks, ergonomics, user interfaces, and environments. Ideas can be shared through low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups.
- Help the design and engineering teams and the rest of the company use the same methods for design, usability, and accessibility. Find out about industry trends and the newest technologies for mobile, desktop, and web and show what you know about them.
- Iterate on concepts based upon verified learning, criticism, and collaboration, and advocate user-centered design across the company.
Skills:
- B.A. (focus in Library Sciences, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related area of study is a plus) Examples and case studies in a design portfolio.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in and contribute to a highly technical environment; previous experience articulating complex interface design concepts in a way that is both clear and convincing.
- Ability to demonstrate successful collaboration with highly technical development teams, or experience working in a setting that is mostly technical or scientific, A demonstrated competence with Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, and other pertinent design software is required.
- Ability to produce IXD objects, documentation, and presentations using conventional design apps as Adobe products, Sketch, and Omnigraffle
- A comprehension of the fundamentals and procedures involved in delivering client and individual services. This involves determining the customer’s wants, providing services that satisfy quality standards, and gauging the customer’s level of satisfaction with those services.
