Qualifications:

• This job is accountable for helping children with mealtimes and cleaning in addition to any other tasks assigned by the instructor and keeping the classroom orderly, safe, and clean.
• Leaders in summer classrooms must be able to create and implement weekly lesson plans for specific age groups, as well as make sure that all documentation (attendance sheets) is completed and that all safety precautions are observed.
• Collecting, folding, typing, laminating, and answering phones are examples of clerical tasks performed for designated areas. Assists in creating and carrying out instructional plans, programmed, and schedules for the classroom.
• In order to ensure a smooth operation of your classroom, there are no excuses. A bulletin board or student papers may be kept up-to-date with a few easy actions. To name a few of their various abilities, they can copy, clean, and distribute grades.
• Maintains communication with families in order to enable good interactions with the programmer, understanding of the child’s needs and development, how the activities of the programmer promote positive growth, and the families’ involvement in the child’s overall education and development.
• Assumes the responsibilities of the lead teacher when necessary and makes certain that all data collection and progress notes are finished within the time periods that have been allotted for the division, that they appropriately represent functional and programmed criteria, and that they are finished in a timely manner.
• Verify that you perform the daily and weekly housekeeping tasks for the classrooms, such as sweeping the floors after meals and activities, wiping the countertops and tables, cleaning the changing tables, putting garbage in the proper receptacles, and washing, sterilizing, and putting away the equipment (toys, laundry and dishes).
• Responsible for grading appropriate academic tests as directed by the teacher. Pre-crisis intervention and conflict resolution for kids must be delivered using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) principles, approved behavior modification techniques/strategies, and physical restraints.
• You are expected to have the necessary documentation and software on hand in order to be able to submit meal counts for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
