To add to our Paid Media team, we’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven, and creative Digital Media Planner who has worked directly with vendors to negotiate media buys. You should feel at home suggesting new ways to use multiple types of media, meeting with suppliers, haggling over prices, and seeing that campaigns go off without a hitch. The ability to clearly articulate your analysis and recommendations to clients and coworkers is crucial, on par with your negotiating and campaign management skills. An ideal candidate would be someone who makes the office a pleasant place to be, can enthusiastically defend the merits of our optimizations and efforts, and can break down complicated strategies for laypeople. Finally, you want to work for a rapidly expanding business that places a premium on providing training and thought leadership to both its clientele and the wider industry.

  • Keep a watch on ad verification, brand safety, and viewability to ensure sure partners are carrying out campaigns as intended.
  • Create multi-channel paid media suggestions based on the client’s goals.
  • Help develop paid advertising strategies for business and enterprise audiences, working with other members of the digital marketing team.
  • Collaborate on developing and implementing omnichannel advertising strategies for paid media campaigns, which are grounded in buyer personas.
  • Investigate potential business partners and news outlets before making any suggestions regarding ad buys. Utilize the campaign’s strategy and objectives as a starting point for uncovering untapped advertising opportunities.
  • Create and maintain schedules, media plans, media authorizations, and vendorINSERTion orders.
  • Send RFPs to potential media partners so you may evaluate them for client campaigns based on their ability to help you achieve your goals and KPIs.
  • You should check that your monthly vendor billing is in sync with your third-party advertising analytics.
  • Keep tabs on the progress of campaigns contracted out to third-party media companies, and consider scheduling regular meetings with the most important partners.
  • Negotiate with strategic media suppliers and Account-Based Marketing partners to manage paid media campaigns.


  • The ability to navigate the buying process for business software and quickly identify relevant new channels in the B2B market, tailored to a specific industry or buyer profile.
  • 3+ years of experience in direct, programmatic, social, and paid search media planning and buying.
  • Ability to negotiate media buys directly with vendor partners to secure lower prices and more value-added services for customers.
  • Two to three years of experience negotiating media campaigns and spending with third-party vendors, and four to six years of experience overall in digital media marketing.
  • Possessing expertise in content marketing, native media buying, and ad negotiations is essential. It’s a benefit if you can work directly with media sales teams from other companies.
