Job Description
The Audit Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a risk-based compliance audit plan that considers all applicable rules, laws, and standards. The position is responsible for leading and performing audits that adhere to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and are intended to assess the adequacy of the Bank’s control environment in respect to regulatory compliance. The Audit Manager will also be in responsible of leading, directing, reviewing, and developing audit experts to ensure that audit operations are carried out accurately, rigorously, and credibly, as well as in line with legislation and industry standards. One of your roles will be to evaluate financial data from firms in order to detect potential fraud or revenue losses.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in BSA/AML and sanctions compliance matters relevant to the Bank.
- TRID must examine all regulatory, operational, and financial aspects
- Take advantage of the organization’s training opportunities to expand your knowledge of commercial lending and the field as a whole.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in internal and/or external auditing, ideally in the banking/financial services industry.
- The computer skills of being able to operate a variety of office applications, including spreadsheets, word processors, email clients, and financial software.
- Having the ability to think independently is essential while assessing engagement risks, choosing which options to pursue in order to achieve the required level of assurance, and examining data.
- Develop and implement data analytics to aid in the planning, implementation, and reporting of audits.
- Control and auditing concepts are well-understood, and you have expertise implementing them.
- Notifies the Senior Manager or Partner immediately of any significant findings or questions about accounting principles or financial statement presentation.
- Help compile the monthly report for the Supervisory Committee that summarizes what the department has been up to. If the Internal Auditor is not available, this person will report to the Supervisory Committee. Follow up with upper management and keep them informed of audit results. Executing specialist tasks as required.

- Prepare accounting ledgers and record financial dealings in the appropriate ledgers.

- Familiarity with the rules and regulations that affect the financial sector.
