Job Description
As a member of the Investment Risk team, the Risk Analyst reports to the Head of Fixed Income Risk Management. Investment Risk is accountable for risk policy development and risk supervision across investment portfolios. This position will oversee compliance with existing risk policies and will help in identifying, quantifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks affecting the Fixed Income business’s portfolios.

Qualifications:
- Analysts may collect external data from the Mortgage Industry for certain projects, while others may help with projects handled by other members of the team.

- Compiling underwriting information and placing coverage, as well as loss forecasting and analysis, in order to promote the optimum protection of an organization’s assets and aid in loss reduction.
- Having a detailed grasp of fixed-income investments, investment processes, trading methodologies, market features, and the regulatory environment.
- Co-creating innovative financial products and services for customers by working together with the investment and business development teams in the company.
- Execute news searches and background checks on new or existing clients to determine if they are good or bad risk wire counter-parties.
- In order to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance requirements, a client list is regularly monitored and updated. As a consequence, risk tolerance is adjusted to account for any changes.
