Full-Time Senior Staff Billing Clerk – Al Wakrah
Job Description
The Billing Clerk is in charge of preparing and issuing customer bills and credit notes, as well as maintaining customer records. You’ll need to be precise and dependable as a Billing Clerk when it comes to processing accounts and paperwork. Because there is so much financial data to keep track of, it is imperative that you have strong numeracy and organizational skills. The objective is to assist in the appropriate creation of receivables bills and protect the company’s revenue.

Qualifications:
- Credit memos are prepared to show returned or wrongly invoiced products. Prepares credit applications for consumers or lenders.
- Shows an awareness of and commitment to the hospital’s mission, beliefs, standards, policies, and practices, as well as its operating procedures, privacy laws, and code of ethics.
- Examine billing records and other data for accuracy and completeness; acquire missing or accurate data as needed.
- Month-end and quarter-end grant invoice preparation for senior accountant approval
- Research and follow-up with the Inventory Control Department to get an updated and amended Bill of Lading.
- Create revenue entries that must be approved and submitted by the Controller during the production of quarterly service reports for funders.
- To assemble required data, reads computer files or collects documents such as purchase orders, sales tickets, and charge slips.
- Follow up to see whether a claim is accepted or refused, and if denied, determine why the claim was denied.
- Performs basic accounting tasks, such as inputting data and keeping track of invoices and other supporting paperwork that shows the amounts owed for goods bought or services done.
- The Bill of Lading, purchase orders, and sales orders may be used to identify short shipments.
Skills:
- Possessing facilitation abilities to help and collaborate with employees, patients, and other parties.
- Computer skills, especially accounting software and spreadsheets, are necessary.
- Basic mathematical computations, balancing and reconciling numbers, and some statistical analysis are required.
- Strong systems skills are necessary, as is past experience/use of ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, and Oracle, as well as the ability to grasp internal technologies for everyday activities.
- It’s critical to be able to express oneself clearly in English, both orally and in writing.
