In addition to Payroll and General Accounting, the Accounting Analyst also assists with Receivables. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting and account management. The supervisor will decide how much time is spent on each of the following support duties in addition to their primary responsibilities. Qualifications:

- Accurate and timely tax filings are ensured by conducting deviation analyses and executing the monthly financial closure process by assuming responsibility for duties such as manual journal entries, pre-paid schedules and billing/invoicing as well as fee computations.
- Utilize accounting managers to priorities and identify open production issues while you do root cause analysis across a variety of scenarios to determine what’s happening. Finding impacted functional groups and stakeholders can help you discover process flows and resolve issues.
- GAAP and SOX standards dictate that global accounting teams must work closely with the facility management/facility team so that their transactions and processes may be audited by global accounting leadership.
- Ensure that the financial closure and review procedures are improved, that period close processes and reconciliations are completed promptly and accurately, that daily accounting transactions are provided, and that the fixed asset ledger is reviewed, updated, and maintained.
- Provide quarterly and annual reporting to the tax department; prepare forecasts on a regular basis for financial planning; when necessary, provide financial support and reporting for fleet activities; have a working knowledge of standard cost accounting; and support the fleet department’s data requests.
- You must assist the business both internally and externally in devising procedures for balancing accounts and generating exception reports that allow you to see any discrepancies in reconciled reports and make necessary corrections. The release testing procedure needs him to guarantee that there are no issues with data quality that might compromise the financial statements or processes.
- Work with business partners to ensure awareness of policies, processes, and system changes. Record entries to the general ledger through subledger entries (accounts payable, asset management, etc.). Prepare entries in line with accrual basis accounting.
- Maintains productive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support, reports results to others and aids others in understanding financial matters, collaborates with manager to establish specific goals and plans to priorities, organize, and accomplish project/department goals.
Skills:
- Experience in accounting or finance of at least three years is required. With the exception of occasional walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying a maximum of ten kilograms, the most of the work is done sitting down in a climate-controlled office setting. The same time-on-the-job criterion is recommended for internal applicants.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to organize and manage their time efficiently, applicants must be able to set priorities, own up to mistakes, and make well-informed decisions. You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmers like Excel and Word in order to apply.
- A candidate for this position has to have substantial expertise managing several processes, a solid grasp of financial reporting techniques, and the capacity to drive cross-functional projects.
- Accounting or business-related bachelor’s degree OR five years of increasingly responsible reporting and analysis work with exposure to various facets of these functions, experience with data mining and the ability to independently find and analyses data for the purpose of making recommendations to management.
