Full-Time Senior CG Generalist – Shot Production, Animation Technical – Madīnat Khāmastāshar Māyo
Job Description
An animator combines language, animation, and sound to assist the film’s plot and excite the team. They collaborate with the director to adapt the storyboards into 3D. The ideal applicant knows visual storytelling and can stick to production assumptions while generating new aesthetic solutions.

Qualifications:
- Make adjustments to vendor-supplied animations, rigs, and skin weights as necessary. Resolve technical issues including animation and rigging by working closely with the art and engineering teams.
- Work with the character art team, systems designers, and engineers to make sure that the vision, the creation, and the use of animation assets are all the same. Work with the technical teams to make procedures and pipelines for character animation that can be done in real time.
- Pre-visualization and the development of first concepts are the result of collaboration with the creative director, design, and the surroundings. Storyboards, live-action video, and 3D blocking are all examples of this kind of production.
- Maintain a regular schedule of industry research, product evaluations, and training in the use of the most cutting-edge computer software programs in order to continually expand your knowledge and skill set. Always show your coworkers respect and courtesy by treating them with respect and decency.
- Create realistic clothes and hair models for characters, for example. Finishing shot work by producing fabric movements and simulations. Solve issues creatively to get art direction for a shot.
- Maya is a strong tool for producing directional animations. Assist the director in developing animation that is consistent with the visual aesthetic of the program. Follow established file management, project management, and version control protocols.
- Utilize time management tactics and production monitoring technologies to achieve deadlines and milestones. Communicate appropriately with creative and production personnel and employees.
- It’s critical to be able to recognize and solve problems on your own. Express yourself creatively and expand on the stylistic direction you’ve been given. We’ll need deformations, procedural modeling, and animation to do this.
- We need to create, generate, and manage animations that bring our game world to life in order to make the game experience immersive and fun. Create new animations from scratch to add to and support the character movement sets you already have.
- The ability to rig and skin characters efficiently in line with the technological restrictions of mobile games allows you to produce believable, smooth and appropriate character animations from multiple IPs.
Skills:
- The ability to exhibit an extraordinary visual/technical grasp of animation mechanics, and a strong understanding of conventional animation ideas and basics Attaining a high degree of quality in gaming animation by using a variety of approaches and styles.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to swiftly rig and animate stylish 2D characters are prerequisites for this position.
- It is preferable if you have some background in scene, shot, camera, and character composition. An understanding of cinematic staging, blocking, cinematography, and editing is helpful.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Visualization, or Computer Animation needed (Recent graduates considered).
- Pre-visualizations, preliminary layouts, and/or characters for computer-generated animation need 1-3 years of experience. The ability to work with Maya is a bonus, but I have a strong interest in rough layout and a passion for telling stories.
