The Financial Services Representative is responsible for proposing suitable financial goods and services to members and assisting them in obtaining them in a timely manner. Proactively seeks for opportunities to ask members open-ended questions in order to foster closer bonds with them. Helps the credit union prosper by engaging in cross-selling activities to achieve personal, departmental, and overall targets. Carrying out member service and teller transactions accurately.

Qualifications:
- Learn each member’s individual financial goals so you may provide products and services from your credit union that will help them achieve those goals.
- Responds quickly and effectively to incoming calls, assisting customers with their requests and solving their difficulties.
- collects evidence and helps applicants for the Financial Assistance Program (FAU) finish the application procedure.
- Execute accounting operations, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and/or other account activities, accurately and quickly.
- Help members open whatever kind of account they need and get acquainted with its features.
- Make an effort to interact with current and future members to improve their membership experience by providing service that is prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
- Accurately tell members about the many accounts and other services available at their credit union thanks to your extensive knowledge of credit union offerings.
- Create trusting connections with customers and locals through a variety of member engagement strategies like relationship calling, in-person conversations, and cross-selling.
- capacity to read and understand complex commercial account documentation to the degree necessary to meet Bank requirements.
- Acquire and handle service requests from members. Find, investigate, and resolve inconsistencies in member accounts.
Skills:
- 2+ years’ worth of expertise in accounting, record keeping, handling money, and customer service.
- Ability to articulate and interact with customers, management, and staff in writing and orally.
- Overuse of a computer or other workplace equipment can cause repetitive stress injuries to the hands and wrists.
- Clearly demonstrates skill in managing time effectively and juggling multiple commitments.
- Competent in interacting productively with people at various levels of an organization, as well as customers and those from a wide range of backgrounds.
