Full-Time Remote Data entry clerk – Saharsa
Job Description
We are seeking a data entry clerk who will read source documents with keyboards or scanners and input data into specific fields, onto tapes, or onto discs for subsequent entry. By comparing data to source documents in verification format, you’ll be expected to find errors.

Qualifications:
- Sort the paper files, copies, and original materials in whatever order seems most sensible.
- Make sure all of your electronic devices, including scanners, are sanitized, in working order, and free of any malfunctions.
- A minimum of a high school graduation is necessary, and a two- or four-year degree in business administration, administration, or a related discipline is desired but not essential.
- Make sure you’re adhering to all of the operational, internal audit, security, and best-practice guidelines set out by your customers and your bank.
- Databases in businesses require constant maintenance: new data must be input, existing data must be updated, and validation must be performed.
- Accessing and confirming private client information; preserving client anonymity and sensitive data.
- Familiarity with the spreadsheet program Excel is a must.
- Help the IT department fix the machine or the program.
- Take care to focus on the finer points. You are in charge of audits, which necessitates pinpoint precision. Accuracy of at least 98 percent is required.
- Perform tasks that are repetitive or semi-routine in nature, requiring little independent judgment outside of established standards but acknowledging the occasional need for variances. It doesn’t play much of a role in the decision-making process.
