Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager (APM) is in charge of processing the company’s accounts payable in a timely and correct manner. This position is also the focal point for the company’s buying operations, which include vendor acquisition, contract negotiations, and vendor account management. This function also recruits, trains, and coaches the A/P Team.

- Handles accounts payable across many locations (national and regional) utilizing cheque, ACH, credit card, and wire payment mechanisms.
- This individual is well-versed in lease terms and conditions (deposits, abatements, TI allowances, rent schedules, share of property taxes, CAM).
- Before use, look for any irregularities in financial data (such as purchase orders, suppliers, and invoices) to verify accuracy and compliance with corporate regulations.
- To deal with procedural and technical challenges, you must assign assignments, evaluate the quality of work generated, and make decisions on how to continue. Work outcomes should be monitored, and management should be presented with metric data.
- Regional managers get support with purchasing, including aid with quote requests, vendor selection, contract negotiations, the creation of new vendor accounts, and continuing account management.
- Management of the month-end accounts payable closing processes will ensure that all operations are completed on time and in accordance with the corporate time restrictions.
Skills:

- In order to successfully carry out all of the responsibilities associated with the position, you will need to possess either an undergraduate degree and two years of management or supervisory experience in accounts payable, or a combination of education and experience that is considered to be equivalent by the employer.
