The Practice Manager’s role is to oversee office efficiency and employee engagement in order to ensure that our practices deliver amazing patient care in collaboration with an Area Clinical Director and Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Daily operations of the hospital are overseen by the Practice Manager, who works closely with the chief of staff.
  • Work with HR to review, investigate into, and address employee issues during the hiring, keeping, and firing of employees.
  • Assess and organize office processes, such as but not limited to payroll, invoicing, cash management, and similar administrative duties.
  • Organize the development and implementation of office budgets as well as the purchasing of standard office supplies and equipment.
  • To offer the best patient care and customer service, keep your workplace in top condition.
  • personnel scheduling, vacation planning, and mandatory training administration.
  • Oversee the recruitment process and keep tabs on the day-to-day operations of the medical, administrative, and billing personnel.
  • Liaise with the hospital to support problem resolution and goal setting in collaboration with Clinical and Practice Management Leadership.
  • Keep up-to-date understanding of software platforms for data collection, storage, and retrieval for managerial reporting.
  • Maintain a risk-free workplace by adhering to all applicable office safety policies and procedures and all applicable local, state, and federal health and safety rules and laws.

Skills:

  • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to address and resolve issues with coworkers.
  • The equivalent of two or more years of office management experience will be considered.
  • Must be able to manage all departmental functions and interact (verbally and in writing) with patients, doctors, and other departments.
  • Must understand the foundations of confidentiality, record keeping, and human resources law.
  • Three years of relevant experience (health care, veterinary profession, service business, etc.) is required, along with direct supervision experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
