The Radiologist conducts simple to complicated diagnostic radiography operations with little supervision, as directed by a certified physician. Applying x-ray energy to aid in the diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages, uses professional judgment in delivering health care services.

  • Appropriately charges for all examinations conducted by the physician.
  • It’s vital to record every picture so the patient and doctor can see any relevant findings. Radiology pictures are sorted by how they were obtained.
  • Accompanied by an assistant, patients are escorted from their exam rooms to the radiology department, where they are put on an x-ray table and trained on how to hold their breath and position their bodies for the best possible images to be obtained.
  • carries out organ or body scans on patients to assist doctors during interventional procedures and give diagnostic assistance. Preparation and positioning of patients, as well as precise selection of anatomical and technical factors.
  • Knows basic and advanced percutaneous procedures, including peripheral interventions. Responsible for patient safety and must be able to identify cardiac arrhythmias and react according to emergency guidelines. In cardiac crises, administers treatment.
  • Nurses perform patient procedures safely and effectively. When needed, radioactive safety rules are followed. Keep up with cardiac principles and clinical practices.
  • Prepares and dispenses contrast media and/or drugs in accordance with the approved scope of practice and relevant state and federal laws. Observes the patient during the surgery and notes any unusual behavior. Monitors protocols and proposes modifications or improvements as needed.
  • Makes sure that all exams are labeled with the patient’s name, the date, the technologist’s name, and the time of the exam. Covers patients while they are in transit or having surgery. Compliance with the rules set by agencies, states, and the federal government.
  • Adheres to all aseptic protocols throughout medical and surgical procedures, applies efficient infection control techniques, is able to offer a detailed explanation of the universal precaution concept, etc.
  • Determine if the patient is in any discomfort that might be interfering with the imaging approach, get help from the appropriate physician, and continue with the PI procedure.


  • Fluoroscopy permit and/or licensure as needed by the state Current BCLS, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, must be understood (AHA), Preferably, one year of acute clinical radiography experience is required. Graduation from a JRCERT or ABHES-accredited school
  • gotten permission from the right people to do it. To work, you must be a fellow of the American Board of Radiology. Always be a member of the Medical Protective Association (or equivalent).
  • a bachelor’s degree from a medical college or osteopathy college that is recognized together with active residency in a radiology training program.
  • You must be registered in one of the following fields: RCIS, RT(R), or CVT (RCIS)
  • Knowing everything there is to know about diagnostic imaging, A minimum of two years’ experience as a radiologist, though more is better, Practice taking vital signs
