Job Description

We’re looking for a trustworthy doctor who can help locals with both emergency and non-emergency medical care. The doctor performs medical examinations and assessments, addresses urgent and routine medical issues, oversees medical care for chronic medical disorders, and participates in organizational efforts to assist inmates avoid diseases and accidents.

Qualifications:

  • Use and support a comprehensive clinical treatment paradigm developed by the team and tailored to help obese patients achieve their weight-loss goals.
  • For surgeries that cannot be performed in the institution, makes necessary referrals.
  • Supervision is required for mid-level clinicians (nurse practitioners and physician assistants, including those working in Women’s Health Care).
  • To improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and equality of care, patients and families must be engaged in their treatment, care coordination must be enhanced, and population and public health must be encouraged while maintaining patient privacy and security.
  • It is possible to give instruction and counselling for health maintenance therapies, such as regular physicals and excellent health behaviors.
  • Assess and treat ED, PE, and male sexually related health disorders utilizing medical methods developed by the medical director.
  • Help the medical director (CMO) regularly treat patients by working together.
  • Conduct regular check-ups on patients to assess their health and identify any potential problems.
  • Organizes and compiles the necessary documentation and thorough reports in accordance with payer and/or Department of Labor regulations, which may include evaluation findings, treatments provided, and assessment of patient response to therapy or treatment plan, and other applicable information.
  • Demonstrate good bedside manner to develop a sympathetic relationship with patients.

Skills:

  • It is desired that you have at least two (2) years of experience practicing primary care medicine in an outpatient environment.
  • Family medicine, occupational or preventive medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or PM&R board certification is desirable. Experience in Occupational Medicine is desired.
  • A current, valid license to practice medicine in the state where services are delivered (licensing must be in good standing) or eligibility for licensure in the state where services are provided.
  • It is highly recommended that you have board certification in the necessary specialization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
