We’re looking for a physical therapist that provides exceptional care, supports teamwork, and treats patients and coworkers with compassion, understanding, and devotion. An ideal applicant would love working with a variety of patients, from children to the elderly, and be prepared to go above and beyond for them when necessary. In order to restore patients to their previous level of function or to a level of function that allows them to attain greater independence and a higher quality of life, you would be in responsible of coordinating care with other healthcare specialists as necessary.

  • According to APTA standards of practice and any state laws, conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy exams.
  • You can avoid the formation, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that can arise as a result of illnesses, disorders, conditions, or injuries by preventing impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
  • Discussions with the patient’s primary care physician or other treating physicians are conducted in order to get more insight into the patient’s condition, modify the treatment plan as needed, and better incorporate physical therapy into the patient’s overall health care.
  • Make a plan for the patient’s care, make sure they stick to it, and alter it as needed based on how well they’re doing.
  • Ability to navigate the complexities of reimbursement from many sources and allocate therapy resources effectively based on resident outcomes and goals prior to discharge.
  • Restore, maintain, and promote not only perfect wellbeing, fitness, and quality of life in terms of mobility and health, but also ideal physical function.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to the patient in performing a variety of physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily living duties, and the use of assistive and supportive equipment, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
  • Performs and records tests and assessments of a patient’s physical health, including but not limited to, strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional abilities, and the efficiency of their respiratory and circulatory systems, and uses the data to inform the development or modification of treatment plans.
  • In order to assist the client in moving toward mutually agreed-upon goals and a discharge plan, counsel and communicate with the client’s family and/or other caregivers as necessary.
  • Patients should be given information and training to assist them become less dependent on medications and avoid surgery.


  • Ability to empathize with patients’ situations and motivate them to push themselves in a healthy, safe, and beneficial way are also crucial.
  • A degree in physical therapy from a school recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association is required.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a natural ability to take charge.
  • You must have at least a year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting, such as a nursing home, hospital, or inpatient/outpatient clinic.
  • Possessing knowledge and expertise in the fields of rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and medical/surgical settings is preferred as evidence of possessing the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
