Job Description
We’re looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our group. On a bi-weekly basis, the chosen applicant will be able to correctly prepare and process payroll for all project personnel and give administration help with employee file information, as well as generate monthly reports for our customer. Working closely with the accounting manager and division manager, this job will ensure that all project employee hours are handled in an efficient and effective manner

Qualifications:
- Re-examine and re-work Participation with managers and workers to achieve completeness in the area of time-and-attendance tracking
- The payroll contains the number of hours worked, time tracking, taxes, insurance, garnishments, and other necessary deductions, as well as the employee identification number.
- To ensure correct payroll records, update status changes, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, child support orders, and other involuntary deductions.
- Assemble data about employee time, compensation, and output from time sheets and other documentation.
- Establish and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, hours worked, and wage changes.
- Reports on payroll on a regular basis as needed and helps with financial audits involving pay records and related general ledgers. Produces additional reports for management as needed.
- Create forms for computer input, enter information into files, or figure wages and deductions and send them to the payroll system.
- Payroll-related processes, such as timesheet submission and online access to pay statements, should be taught to workers.
- Processes employee expenditure reports, making any necessary reimbursements via payroll, auditing, and, when necessary, speaking with workers.
- New workers’ documentation and payroll information must be entered into the payroll system.
Skills:
- Organizational and communication abilities above average. Ability to follow fairly complicated oral and written instructions; be able to make small judgments in compliance with laws and regulations as they relate to work difficulties; be able to keep corporate records; and be able to communicate effectively with both workers and convicts. The ability to interact with people in a range of shifting and challenging circumstances is a must.
- Maintaining a great degree of precision.
- Three years or more of relevant experience with a large organization Success calls on excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal, written and listening)
- Understanding of payroll operations in practice gained over the course of two (2) years in more responsibility secretarial or payroll job Overall clerical ability and competence.
- Text and numerical data must be entered, manipulated, and formatted; rows and columns must be inserted, deleted and manipulated; and spreadsheets, charts, and graphs must be saved.
