Qualifications:
- Use industry research, product reviews, and training in cutting-edge computer software packages to gain new information and abilities. Maintain a professional demeanor with your colleagues at all times.
- Establish, produce, and manage animations that will bring our game world to life in order to provide an engaging gaming experience that is both immersive and thrilling. Animate brand-new characters from scratch while simultaneously supporting and improving upon the movement sets of previously-animated characters.
- Design and make effects for characters, such as simulations of cloth and hair, Make simulations, animations, and final animations of cloth for shot work in production. Find creative ways to solve problems and make a shot look good.
- Self-assess progress and use time management and production monitoring tools to fulfill deadlines. Effectively communicate with creative and production personnel and colleagues
- Do your own troubleshooting and problem-solving Clearly express your creative viewpoint and build on the aesthetic direction you were provided, if necessary. To do this, we’ll need deformations, procedural models, and animations.
- Do what is required in terms of vendor-supplied skin weight modifications. Help the creative and engineering teams with complex technical difficulties such as animation and rigging
- Maya is a strong tool for producing directional animations. Assist the director in developing animation that is consistent with the visual aesthetic of the program. Follow established file management, project management, and version control protocols.
- You are able to generate animations for characters from numerous intellectual properties that are convincing, fluid, and acceptable if you have the capacity to effectively rig and skin characters in accordance with the technical limitations of mobile games.
- With the help of system designers and engineers, you’ll be able to produce high-quality animations. Run-time character animation pipelines may be designed in collaboration with technical teams.
- A collaborative effort between the creative director, graphic designer, and others is required to pre-visualize the final result. Storyboards, live action video, and 3D blocking are examples.
Skills:
- Animator capable of fast rigging and animating styled 2D characters, with a minimum of two years’ experience in the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Visualization, or Computer Animation, or equivalent work experience, is required (Recent graduates considered).
- Strong understanding of the basics and principles of traditional animation, able to show an excellent visual and technical understanding of how animation works, Experienced in gameplay animation, able to animate at a very high quality level and using a variety of techniques and styles
- In order to create pre-visualizations, preliminary layouts, and/or characters for computer-generated animation, one to three years of experience in this sector is required. Although having the ability to work with Maya would be beneficial, I have a strong interest in rough layout and a passion for communicating stories.
- It’s best to know about scene, shot, camera, and character composition. A good working knowledge of the basics of film staging, blocking, cinematography, and editing is a plus.
