Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director of the Small Business Development Center, the Business Advisor provides a comprehensive range of small business-based assistance, including one-on-one client counseling in business planning, analyzing, preparing, and structuring financial statements, such as cash flow projections, income statements, and sources and uses statements for reporting, and assisting clients with automated and manual record keeping systems.

Qualifications:
- Establish and sustain effective and cooperative working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, both within and outside the company.
- Providing exceptional one-on-one advice to a diverse and complicated spectrum of clients requires a broad range of expertise in a variety of areas. Depending on the client’s degree of competence or the complexity of the enterprise, many clients may be served on a short-term basis, while others need long-term guidance. Maintaining a high level of activity while responding to the time-sensitive nature of commercial decision-making requires adequate organizational abilities.
- Ensures that the IT Development team always has work in the pipeline to produce incremental program value and that data is provided in time for planned campaign usage by coordinating with the Release Train Engineer and IT Architects on scheduling and delivery of requirements.
- Compliance, Legal, Operations Risk Management, and Business Experience Owners collaborate with the Risk Management team to identify and mitigate risks in the internal control environment.
- Debt management challenges caused by a choice, structure, pricing and renewals of a loan may be discussed and addressed by a customer advisor.
- When it comes to financial proposals and projections, business plans and operating strategies, as well as managerial analyses and research, the center helps with all of this and more. It also develops and implements marketing strategies to raise awareness of the center’s commercial resource offerings, and coordinates marketing efforts to get the word out.
- Investigate and collect information to mitigate/understand the risks connected with the customer relationship, and submit via proper channels to gain credit clearance. Decisions on customer requests, whether granted, amended, or denied, are communicated.
- This individual is in charge of collaborating with the IT teams to review needs at Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings. It collaborates closely with both business and IT support to ensure that requirements are executed and to maintain change control for requirements.
- Ensures that high-level business vision and scope are translated into precise functional requirements in order to ensure that campaign data and system functionality requirements are met.
- Conferences featuring open forums for debate and other public venues may be conducted over the course of a single day or over the course of many days in addition to long-term sessions that take place in a classroom setting.
Skills:
- Knowledge of starting a business, running and managing a small business, financial and accounting principles, methods, and standards, marketing, market research, economic development, and legal issues related to business growth.
- familiarity of Excel and Visio as well as a comprehensive comprehension of AGILE’s guiding ideas and practices are required. Advertising to the public
- 8-10 years of experience in the consumer goods or services industry, especially with a consumer-oriented, strategic data emphasis; previous SQL skills is not required but is strongly preferred.
- Effective communication with stakeholders and all levels of management may affect business optimization decisions.
- It is planned to create and put into action certain suggestions and recommendations that, among other things, will increase productivity and enhance the business decisions that may be made, such as managing performance and profitability in line with risk and compliance requirements.
