Full-Time Lead Carpenter 1st Shift – Sadiqabad
Job Description
The Lead Carpenter supervises a small group or team of expert Carpenters and semi-skilled workers to complete the series’ work. The Lead Carpenter’s tasks include leading many journey-level crafts workers and semi-skilled helpers, setting out and organizing the work flow, and producing materials lists and procuring supplies.

Qualifications:
- Set up pre-event set up as instructed by the Facilities Engineer and Lead Carpenter, while supporting fabrication and facility requirements. Good customer relations should be promoted, built, and maintained.
- Job responsibilities include directing and supervising the full range of skilled carpentry work as outlined in the series overview; directing, instructing and working with a small group or crew of Carpenters and assist; instructing others in safety rules and ensuring that they are observed; selecting and preparing lists of materials for jobs, maintaining stock material in the warehouse; inspecting carpentry work to ensure it meets quality requirements and specifications; and maintaining stock material in the warehouse.
- Ensure that every visitor, user, supplier, and internal partner receives the finest customer service possible. Participate in and, on occasion, lead meetings and training sessions pertaining to guest services.
- Make use of a variety of tools and materials, as well as different kinds of goods, for the building process (wood framing, metal framing, CDX-walnut veneer, drywall, fiberglass, etc.).
- Be the company’s worksite representative, accountable for quality, safety, budget, and schedule.
- Maintain consistent communication with your Project Manager about the status of the project, as well as any possible problems or delays that might affect the project’s budget or schedule.
- Lead crew and work directly with subcontractors to ensure that each project is done on time and on (or under) budget while meeting the best quality requirements in the business.
- Read and understand architectural, structural, MEP, and/or sketch drawings and plans. Verify field measurements and structural accuracy; report any discrepancies to the Superintendent.
- It is very necessary for you to pay careful attention to the layout and carry it out in the proper manner since the layout will continue to have an effect on your work long after the assignment has been finished.
- It can be used with things like wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Sets up work by measuring materials or distances with a square, measuring tape, or ruler.
Skills:
- At least one year of experience as a journeyman carpenter, including tasks like coordinating work. Know everything there is to know about rough and finished carpentry processes, tools, and materials.
- Light commercial construction experience, a high school certificate or GED, and a recognized trade school credential are necessary. People who can lift 90 pounds or more must climb ladders and scaffolds and crawl through narrow areas.
- At least five years of experience as a staff carpenter, preferably with some exposure to or experience managing projects or parts of projects. Ability to manage and coordinate the work of workers, suppliers, and contractors in related trades.
- The person in charge needs to know how to do their job well. Must be able to lead, teach, and coordinate the work of a small group or crew of skilled and semi-skilled workers; accurately estimate costs, supplies, and materials needed for jobs; make lists of materials; make sure work is done in the right order; keep records; and write more complex reports.
- Must be able to work outside in all kinds of weather. A valid driver’s license and insurance company underwriting standards are required. Be able to pass a drug test before starting work.
