The typical day in this position entails scheduling appointments with potential clients within your designated zone, talking about our goods and services, and putting together a sales estimate.

Qualifications:
- Make sure the handoff from Preconstruction to Construction Operations goes smoothly and all necessary information is shared.
- generates cost estimates and construction budgets based on an evaluation of design documents, technical requirements, and other relevant information.
- Undocumented construction difficulties are considered while reviewing the project’s budget.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for all estimating services and the general construction departments as needed.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and lack of hazard depicted in the other construction documents, such as the drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining happy clients by carefully documenting and relaying all proposals.
- Examine the design, the soils report, the job requirements, the bidding procedures, and the quantity measurements.
- establishes and maintains a database of past labor, material, and equipment costs to facilitate competitive bidding.
- Verify that there are no inconsistencies or omissions between the drawings and the specifications.
- Meeting in-person with clients from the residential and commercial sectors at their residences or places of business to assess the costs of jobs and projects
Skills:
- possess expertise in managing complicated projects that require communication with a large number of positions in design, construction, accounting, and operations.
- Motivated, creative, and willing to learn in a challenging, entrepreneurial environment.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or estimating, with a focus on the Home Improvement sector.
- Acquiring Expertise in Microsoft Project (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)
