Job Description
When editing and preparing manuscripts for electronic and print production, the Production Associate (PA) must strictly adhere to deadlines, style requirements, and publishing dates. Once an author has been accepted, the PA becomes the primary point of contact, guiding them through the publishing process by providing exceptional customer service, responding to questions and special requests, and coordinating as necessary with the editors and the printer. The editorial assistant works with writers to answer queries about their manuscripts, figures, and proofs for the press office and the marketing department. The PA must keep to his or her personal deadlines, delegate tasks in light of looming publication dates, and take part in at least one cross-departmental or company-wide initiative.

Qualifications:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design, to finish projects on time and boost the digital service we provide to our customers.
- Produce, design, and edit print and digital materials such proposals, offering memorandums, graphics/covers, flyers, maps, aerials, logos, floor plans, photographs, presentation graphics/charts, and end bound volumes.
- Make changes to content and projects on our online store, such as adding new products and updating prices.
- Keep open lines of communication with the underwriting, closing, and asset management teams as well as any outside agency investors.
- To oversee the incorporation of diamond video and photo sites, including the onboarding of new providers and the verification of compliance with our criteria.
- Participate in in-house trainings and at least one online course annually.
- Collaborate closely with the dev team to outline requirements, then oversee the experience’s creation and testing to ensure quality.
- A Production Associate’s job is to oversee the manufacturing process from start to finish.
- Work with in-house teams and the development team to identify, reproduce, and report website issues with products and back-end functionality.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, eXtyles, Adobe, ProofCentral, and PTS is preferred (basic level).
Skills:
- Extremely methodical; places premium on taking charge of projects and seeing them through to fruition.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with a degree in cooking being highly preferred.
- Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint are all Microsoft products that you should know how to use.
- You should be proficient in Adobe applications such as Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as ToonBoom Storyboard Pro.
- It is recommended that you are familiar with content management systems and marketing and outreach platforms such as WordPress and MailChimp.
