Full-Time Inventory Specialist – Hybrid Remote – Cairo
Job Description
The primary duty of the Inventory Specialist is to assist in the Stock Room. All of these tasks—from ordering to receiving goods—include meeting inventory requests, distributing tools and components, carrying out order tracking, and maintaining inventory control. Strong keyboarding and internet skills are required for this position, as well as the ability to collaborate with people at all organizational levels to meet departmental goals. Along with actively promoting activities related to preventative maintenance, quality, safety, and good manufacturing practices.

Qualifications:
- Assembles information on materials, tools, supplies, or other items that have been received or dispersed, along with figures for the inventory’s balance, cost, and price.
- Maintains important documents and files; produces standardized reports for management approval.
- Tools, equipment, and components are unpacked, organized, and stored before being received. Inventory is checked, order points are monitored, and orders are placed and expedited.
- Concerns about material stock inventory levels should be brought up with shipping or inventory coordinators, department managers, and internal and external clients.
- Helps with the creation and execution of physical inventories.
- Handle calls for material stock checks, recording and sending any relevant data.
- Must have prior experience working in a team environment that is professional, fast-paced, and customer-focused.
- There are identified cost-cutting techniques include par-level manipulation, reorder points/min/max, and holding-cost reduction.
- Measures and visually examines tools and equipment for faults and wear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- To name and identify tools and equipment, use an identifying tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
Skills:
- Helps with the creation and execution of physical stocktakes.
- Keeps all necessary records updated and submits regular reports for review by upper management.
