- Ensure adequate compliance resources and training, cultivate a culture of compliance, and optimize relationships with regulators on a local level in order to carry out the Group’s compliance policy in tandem with the Head of Group Compliance, Global Business Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer, or Local Compliance Officer.
- Know the company’s offerings and the laws that affect them, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Know Your Customer requirements. Maintain strict adherence to all operational risk controls and compliance procedures established by the Company and applicable regulations, and report any control failures, compliance violations, or instances of operational loss.
- Uphold well-established norms of customer service while individually tailoring each interaction by anticipating customers’ needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Tellers provide a wide variety of functions, including customer account maintenance, loan repayment, safe deposit box funding, gift card sales processing, check cashing, currency verification, cash drawer balance, and night deposits.
- Always keep a sufficient cash drawer on hand, proof all transactions, balance cash, and check that all recorded transactions and negotiable items add up to the correct totals.
- Ensures compliance with the Bank’s internal control obligations, including the timely implementation of audit recommendations and external authorities’ complaints.
- Boost the company’s credibility by providing the kind of customer-focused, pro-active service that helps it achieve its stated aim of “going above and beyond” for its clientele; encourage repeat business and word-of-mouth advertising by actively involving existing clients.
- Teller cash dispensers (TCDs) and recyclers (TCRs) are restocked as necessary, and automated teller machines (ATMs) are also monitored.
- Be the initial point of contact for customers and leave a positive impression through helpful service.
- Maintains a high level of service quality while handling financial transactions and increasing revenue.
- In addition to cash handling skills, a year of recorded experience in customer service and/or sales is required.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of leadership and a strong motivation to grow professionally.
- Superb interpersonal and communication abilities
- Skills in handling money quickly and accurately, with an eye for detail.
