Job Description
The Master Scheduler is responsible for the overall planning and administration of plant operations. It is the key point of contact between the plant and corporate planning and plays a crucial role in ensuring that the two are aligned. Interdepartmental communication is essential for the plant as a whole to meet its daily goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:
- Share data with other departments, such as engineering, accounting, and human resources.
- exercises unsupervised, independent control over processes or projects of varying sizes.

- To assist their production needs, serve as a point of contact for remote manufacturing sites.
- keeps track of the stock levels for all materials used, finished products, and outputs.
- To be able to fill in when needed, you should be familiar with developing and managing schedules for every department in the plant.
- Generate reports on progress, review them for inconsistencies, and figure out ways to address them or work around them.
- communicates often with corporate planning to address the needs of the whole facility, production plans, and maintenance.
- Utilize input/output control reporting to assess the condition of the manufacturing floor.
- Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures.
Skills:
- A person skilled in all areas of business operations may be the key to building high-performing teams.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities; adept at interacting with managers at all levels.
- Using spreadsheets and SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning tool, successfully manage the planning process.
- A four-year bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
