Qualifications:
- Compliance with all business rules and procedures, including but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct, in his/her area of responsibility is required.
- Repair and maintain high-speed industrial process equipment, such as can and/or end manufacturing, power, lighting, and control PLC logic. All electrical power (24 to 600 volts), automation controllers, VFDs, transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices are included.
- To guarantee effective communication and documentation, update wiring schematics (paper and ACAD), computer program change forms (whether retained on paper or in Microsoft Office formats), and shift turn over meetings.
- All corporate sites (repairs, inspections, and adjustments) should have PM and work orders completed as they emerge, and maintenance employees should be consulted as required.
- Conducts field measurements and utilizes software designed for programmable logic control in order to diagnose the causes of faults and implement the necessary corrections. Ensures that the equipment is operating well by correctly programming the line controls, and pro-actively offers different ways to enhance the performance of the line.
- Work with your supervisor to identify inefficiencies and potential electrical issues, then implement process adjustments based on your findings.
- Establishes and maintains productive working connections within the department, division, team, and organization. Includes the capacity to manage stress and engage with people in order to create and maintain a happy and productive work environment and to reduce personal disputes.
- To ensure a safe and successful completion of the work assignment, employees must adhere to the food safety system’s requirements for workplace safety, which are detailed in plant and corporate directives. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the area of responsibility will be initiated and reviewed as instructed.
- Uses, distributes, and manages hazardous and nonhazardous commodities and wastes in accordance with environmental rules. Recognizes waste streams and limits waste creation by judicious use of resources, effective disposal, and segregation, as instructed during training or by the EC, EFP/EM. Comprehends and complies with trash accumulation and storage rules.
- Scheduling is flexible. You can work a set schedule or 12-hour shifts that switch days and nights from Monday to Sunday, depending on what your company needs. The person in charge must be able to work extra hours regularly and/or be on call, as ordered by management.
Skills:
