- To maintain consistent quality while saving costs, establish and enforce the adoption of standardized operating processes and procedures.
- Schedules and job descriptions for departmental coworkers should be created and maintained.
- Always know what’s available, what’s being used, and what’s needed to fulfill orders, and communicate the department’s status.
- Be a role model for the company’s values of safety, dependability, honesty, innovation, and service.
- Assist colleagues with training, development, and coaching/corrective action.
- Contribute to the analysis and resolution of production control flow and labor/product challenges.
- When discussing expectations, handling disputes, and addressing concerns, maintain confidentiality and work in a professional manner.
- Create and make recommendations for improvements to the product’s quality, efficiency, and safety.
- being able to identify problems, collect data, verify information, and draw valid conclusions is a must.
- possess computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Possess the capacity to successfully communicate information to groups of supervisors and teammates and to answer to their queries.
- Read written work orders, instructions, measuring tools, and company-posted work and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Be a seasoned leader with a track record of success in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and development, and conflict resolution.
