Qualifications:
- Identify and lead efforts to support the brand’s nutrition, health, and wellness promise through innovation and renovation.
- Uses information on the company’s products, its customers, and the industry as a whole to assist the Manager in creating a yearly strategy for coordinating Marketing’s and Sales’ efforts to produce maximum demand for the brand.
- Assist in planning the optimal engagement strategy and campaign structure for making timely, relevant connections with customers.
- Dive into demand landscape for the consumer/brand by utilization of digital insight tools.
- Assist the brand in determining and comprehending its identity, essence, vision, mission, and fundamental values in the eyes of consumers in order to develop pertinent communications and innovation.
- Manage consumer communication projects that create a creative environment that brings the brand to life and enables efficient consumer communication with a digital and social first approach.
- Prove that you can keep projects on track and under budget, and that you can weigh the pros and cons of different investment opportunities to find the best way to balance risk and reward. Find ways to promote the brand’s nutrition health and wellness offer via communications, and take the lead on related activities.
- Direct the strategy, planning, execution, and assessment of communication plan activities that target specific touchpoints or consumer goals. This may involve managing a cross-functional team or an agency.
- Take advantage of consumer and market trends to learn more about the brand’s target audience or a specific subset of the brand’s target audience, including their demographics, psychographics, and the factors that influence their purchasing decisions.
- Take charge of brand operations in a way that demonstrates your familiarity with crucial consumer insights and your ability to apply them to targeted marketing, public relations, product development, and other areas of focus.
Skills:
- Prior experience in developing hypotheses through analyzing data and spotting patterns in order to gain insight into consumer behavior is a plus.
- Those applying should ideally have some prior expertise developing long-term strategy for brands and products, including marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Prior experience working in tandem with other departments and external agencies is highly desired.
- Required education and experience include either a Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, MBA, or a similar discipline OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus at least three years of relevant job experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management.
- Manage marketing communication projects, preferably implementing media and digital strategies.
