Qualifications:

  • As required, provides written reports and documentation to the customer’s desktop supervisor and training supervisor. Full desktop/laptop install
  • Resolve end user help desk concerns such as troubles with computer hardware or software, new equipment setups and installs, software installations, moves, decommissioning, phone and fax issues, and so on. Examples of these types of complaints include:
  • Maintain a record of all contacts with end users and make available resources such as “how to” instructions for problem solving. Help ensure the safety of sensitive data and the online environment.
  • Monitoring systems, such Windows Perfmon and SolarWinds, may be configured and maintained by the administrator. Maintain internal documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Following extensive troubleshooting at the circuit board level, swap out problematic computer, printer, or network assemblies or components. A variety of software components are installed depending on the scenario.
  • Install and update software, perform file backups, and set up systems and apps by yourself if you have the time and resources to do it all.
  • Test the fixes to confirm that the issue has been appropriately fixed, and submit all findings and final resolutions. Carry out post-resolution follow-up with the users and the supervisor.
  • Offer more sophisticated computer support to find the root of the problem and fix it as fast and painlessly as feasible.
  • Use the internet to search and download approved software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions (FAQ).
  • Keep a record of every step of the problem-solving process, including the successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and report the final conclusion to the IT Support Supervisor.

Skills:

  • Associate degree in computer science, computer technology, or a discipline linked to information technology is desirable. Experience with AWS, Microsoft Office, internet browsers, mobile apps, disaster recovery, and VMware spanning one or more years is desirable.
  • Capacity to grasp, read, write, and communicate effectively in English, as well as the ability to connect with members of all levels of the company, Capability of easily adapting to different business environments and different types of systems
  • Knowing help desk software, databases, and remote control. Good client-facing and communication capabilities Advanced troubleshooting, multitasking
  • Ability to communicate information to all levels of customers, both internal and external, in a professional and effective way in non-technical words.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, browser and internet programs, mobile devices, Printers, Toners, PC and Mac operating systems, computer hardware, and other technical skills is desirable.
