The role of the Clinical Director is to provide direction and leadership to the team. This job is responsible for creating and implementing facility-wide, strength-based clinical programs grounded in evidence-based practices and cultural sensitivity. The Clinical Director plays a crucial role in the management team, ensuring the facility operates efficiently and sustainably, and is responsible for facilitating supervision through a team-based approach.

Qualifications:
- financial issues pertaining to the provision of clinical services are covered.
- Offer leadership, management, and administrative support for 10–12 hours each week.
- Monitors staff compliance with personnel rules, facility policies and state regulations.
- Conceives, analyzes, and updates the facility’s clinical service rules and procedures.
- Serves as a point of contact for staff to address issues within facility related to cultural beliefs, concerns, and staff or patient questions.
- regularly holds staff meetings to inform employees about new advances and solicit their feedback on therapeutic programming. As a result, they will be prepared to tackle any problems that may occur and implement effective solutions.
- manages and guides the day-to-day operations of the clinical programs.
- handles hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Identifies, facilitates and monitors clinical program operations that are culturally diverse.
- provides therapeutic guidance, instruction, and encouragement to those working in the field of mental health.
Skills:
- command of key office software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, the internet, and other computers.
- appreciation for the impact of cultural differences on indigenous peoples and their societies.
- fluency in both oral and written forms of expression, with public speaking being a particular strength.
- expert understanding of personnel procedures and clinical treatment program administration.
- the capacity to evaluate and put into practice efficient treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and state laws, rules, and regulations.
