Job Description
Using python, C, C++, bash shell, or another language relevant to the task, an Engineering Technician will write test execution and analysis code and scripts. These scripts and code will run tests, collect test artefacts, process test artefacts to decide pass/fail, and save the results in a stack. Work on the stack will be done to consume and visualize the data, as well as report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They’ll be able to work independently, document and present their findings, and troubleshoot problems.

Qualifications:

- Accumulating and evaluating data on grants and permits as well as environmental restrictions, as well as providing legal descriptions of real estate; developing new CAD maps or revising existing ones; is the act of collecting information on governmental funding, licenses, and environmental laws
- Using GPS, GIS, and CADD software, these engineers design and implement large and complicated engineering projects that are tied to public infrastructure. Among the many things they provide are detailed technical drawings, maps, and other visual aids.
- For a range of residential and commercial plans, permits, reports and studies, preliminary conclusions are produced on technical compliance problems. Resolving difficulties and offering direction for code compliance; documenting the planned project; and making suggestions for approval or corrective procedures to remedy deviations or violations.
- Maintains electronic and hardcopy records of daily department activity; completes project records and design/drawing files for assigned projects; and updates database files as appropriate.
- When a project’s specifications call for a certain set of ratios or volumes to be calculated, a project’s cost estimates are provided as well as the ability to verify third-party contractor computations.
- Engineering customer service involves meeting with design consultants and producing letters and large mailings. It also entails responding to construction inquiries and public complaints.
- Prepares project contract documents and all necessary permits; develops construction specifications and reviews contractor specifications for compliance with established rules and regulations; organizes bid proposals and cost estimates; reviews materials, labor, and equipment costs for accuracy; and provides technical construction guidance as needed..
- Responds to and repairs equipment malfunctions. Troubleshooting (when necessary). Among other things, it replaces worn or damaged parts, motors, and control systems.
- Worked on building projects and stake/field layout design components; researched and evaluated a variety of technical and operational data to assist the County infrastructure; examine the condition of the roads and makes a decision on the best approach for resurfacing or repairing them. Verification of adherence to certain site-specific plans and regulations throughout the course of construction; oversees a slew of kingdoms.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are all required.
- A minimum of three years of surveying, drawing, or sub-professional civil engineering work experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience that offers the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this job
- A bachelor’s degree in a related subject of study, or an equivalent engineering degree, is required for this job.
- Working knowledge of highway design software and computer operations is required. As needed or instructed, works with computer-related objects such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, the internet, spreadsheets, word processing, State software for road and bridge, and other applications.
