- Foster a sense of collaboration by aiding all members of the staff in keeping the setting in which the patients are treated in a state of seamless operation. This will result in the provision of an experience that is both good and memorable for each patient.
- Reviewing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to ensure that consumers and insurance companies are being paid. An option to upload completed insurance verification paperwork.
- Patients have a right to be informed not just about the treatment plans but also about the estimated costs. Help patients understand their dental insurance coverage and the payment choices available for treatments that may not be covered.
- Asking about the patient’s health insurance and teaching people about their plans Keeping track of insurance claims that haven’t been paid.
- Positively welcome and concentrate on each patient; quickly check the patient in; and obtain any updates for personal medical history and/or insurance information. Ensure that the dental software is updated as needed.
- You should offer new clients gifts and show them your dentist clinic, highlighting the benefits of choosing (Your company) Dental. During the tour, point out patient-specific features.
- Make sure there aren’t any duplicate patients in the system by getting all of the new patient’s paperwork and looking for the patient or his or her family. Please check your work twice to make sure it is correct and complete before you send it to the system. Tell the back office when a new patient is ready.
- Pull up and listen to all voicemails left for the clinic as often as possible. Respond or give the follow-up to someone else to make sure it gets done. Answer all phone calls within three (3) rings and use phone dialogue protocol language on every call.
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, professional entryway, waiting area, and front office. Spot clean and arrange everyday. Deep clean regularly, including vacuuming, cleaning corners and edges, mopping, dusting, removing spider webs, sweeping entrance, and washing glass/windows.
- Consult insurance and Medicaid on claims, treatment plans, and pre-authorization. Accurately calculate dental benefits and co-pays Inform dentists and employees of CDT code changes annually.
- The ability to form and sustain long-term connections with patients and coworkers. A proven track record, a mature outlook, and the desire to work as part of a team are all required.
- Knowledge with open dental software is a distinct advantage. A background in accounting is recommended but not essential; a high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred; the candidate must have had dental insurance for at least two years (Required)

- Required to have a minimum of two years of experience working in a dental practice, in addition to having a sound knowledge base in dental terminologies and insurance benefits.
