Job Description

We need a receptionist that is a people person and can handle customer service with ease. This individual will be responsible for communicating with high-level clients and staff and running a multi-line phone system and other office equipment (computers, printers, scanners, etc.).

  • Billing, data entry, word processing, new case file creation, and letter writing are all on the list of things you’ll be doing.
  • Attend meetings as asked, including staff meetings for the office of operations, finance, and performance management.
  • Organize data gathering and database updates for employees’ information, including new hiring, employee tracking, and annual compliance trainings.
  • Make use of a phone system with multiple lines to field inquiries, relay information, take messages, and so on.
  • Answer all incoming calls, screen them, and forward the appropriate ones while passing along relevant information.
  • Attend to the needs of visitors, staff, and messenger services as well as participants in research investigations. Guests should be directed or escorted to their destinations when the nature and purpose of their visit have been determined.
  • Maintain accurate sign-out/sign-in processes for visitors and on-site staff. Ensure that personnel whereabouts are known.
  • The individual accountable for facilitating CMMS request activation, monitoring request status, and providing backup training support.
  • Keep track of office and file cabinet keys as well as check-in and check-out ledgers for various pieces of office equipment.
  • Help out with the office’s general upkeep by filing, copying, collating, faxing, etc.


  • experience working in a fast-paced environment as a receptionist or office assistant.
  • Basic computer skills include word processing, spreadsheets, access, and PowerPoint presentations, as well as internet surfing.
  • It is crucial to pay strict attention to detail to ensure that all issues brought to the front desk are properly recorded and addressed in a timely and expert manner.
  • Ability to handle several assignments and generate products within short deadlines.
  • Follow-up, communication, and consideration for clients, staff, and other professionals are all excellent.
