The position of Credit Analyst has been opened. This position is responsible for reviewing merchant applications, determining whether or not they pose an acceptable risk in accordance with the Credit Policy, managing departmental Excel spreadsheets and producing reports based on data collected, calling and faxing bank and trade references to verify credit applications and bank references, using this information to make a determination on applications in accordance with the Credit Policy, and informing the appropriate departments and customers of the results of this process.

Qualifications:
- Fill out facility and client data as needed before sending proposals for approval.
- Oversee and maintain departmental spreadsheets in Excel for reporting purposes.
- Attend credit meetings and get knowledge of how to correctly pitch changes and brand-new banking opportunities to internal credit partners for final approval.
- Collaborate with the closing coordinators to ensure that the loan closing process has no negative impact on the client.
- Collaborating with partners from other sectors or lines of business as needed to add specifics to credit facility bids for new construction, current construction, and data maintenance
- Notify the appropriate agencies and end users of the decision made about the submitted applications, including any relevant justifications.
- Make that everyone on the team is following the set procedures and guidelines when responding to credit-related inquiries.
- Make any required adjustments to the proposal before releasing it based on the outcomes of negotiations.
- Review merchant applications to determine if the risk presented by the account is acceptable within the Credit Policy.
