- It is the responsibility of the payroll administrator to guarantee that all payroll transactions are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- The Payroll Manager conducts a variety of accounting and payroll tasks, such as processing payroll, bonus payments, and commission or incentive programs, both on a regular and irregular basis.
- Organization of information and statements for both internal and external auditors must be done in order to guarantee that the company complies with any additional legal or regulatory requirements. Complying with local, state, and federal taxes is also part of the equation.
- To ensure the accuracy of profits, one must evaluate, compute, and repair errors. Make certain that each payroll change is handled correctly.
- All changes to payroll, such as new hiring, termination of employment, and pay rate modifications, are completed swiftly and accurately by this person.
- Work cross-functionally with the HR department on new hiring, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Sets up internal checks and balances to make sure that all payroll tasks are done well and in accordance with regulations. The corporate leadership and field offices are told about the procedures.
- Reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to the Controller and HR. Responds quickly to escalated field questions.
- Payroll accuracy and timeliness are also ensured by examining off-cycle pay, coordinating with the payroll supervisor, and ensuring that checks are processed promptly.
- Performs research on erroneous information received, assesses the proper accounting approach, and recommends revisions to the transaction’s originator.
- Must demonstrate familiarity with federal accounting processes and standards.

- We are searching for a payroll manager with a bachelor’s degree in an accounting-related subject and at least five years of payroll or billing experience.
