Job Description
At a manufacturing company, we’re looking for an Equipment Operator. Setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining rewinding equipment, handling rolls of labels as they come off the reminder, and putting label rolls into boxes and stacking on pallets are all responsibilities of this profession.

Qualifications:
- Safely use hand and power tools, construction and maintenance equipment, such as mowing machines and air hammers. Clean culverts, mow, mend potholes, remove rubbish, and shovel asphalt and snow.
- Transports and unloads construction goods from City stockpiles or suppliers for City development or maintenance projects.
- Assume responsibility for all equipment operator tasks. Keep a complete log of all machine operations, maintenance, and gas usage.
- Uses and drives light to moderately complex equipment safely for City and utility maintenance. Safely uses and drives rubber-tired backhoe, tracked excavators and loaders, maintainers, bobcats, street sweepers, cranes, soil compactors, and front-end loaders. Excavates asphalt and concrete, clears debris and blockages from creeks, and maintains the sanitary sewer system.
- Raw materials and finished components are moved and placed with the help of material movement equipment. Standard operating procedures should be followed while maintaining and running a vehicle.
- The maintenance facility must be kept clean, orderly, and safe on a daily basis. Every time you use it, carefully clean it. Make a thorough inspection of all equipment and alert the Equipment Technician if any issues are discovered.
- Maintains open lines of communication with both internal and external clients, such as cooperators, landowners, the public, and fire departments, among others. has an understanding of safe work standards and puts them into effect, Participates actively as a member of a team in cooperative endeavors.
- Maintains construction equipment by doing minor repairs and maintenance.
- Transports earth moving or other medium to large sized automotive equipment to the work site while adhering to all applicable safety rules and regulations while driving a truck and trailer rig.
- Runs heavy machinery according to the company’s operating safety policies and procedures. Conducts periodic equipment inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment; keeps correct records
Skills:

- As an Equipment Operator I, you must have at least six months of experience, or a year of experience in golf course operations or a related role, to apply Education in turfgrass management, or a similar discipline, may be used to satisfy the work experience requirement for a turfgrass technician.
