Payroll is overseen by the Payroll Supervisor. They use the system to produce, record, and deliver paychecks. Employee data, payroll procedures, taxation, and off-cycle payments are all checked for accuracy by these professionals, who also do audits and studies. The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for making sure that the company’s payroll practices adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including aviation-specific ones. Payroll tax accounts and system settings will also be set up and maintained by the payroll experts.

- To accommodate our multi-state activities, aviation regulations, and distributed staff, establish and manage numerous tax sites.
- Inform employees about payroll-related issues and respond to their inquiries. To do this work effectively, it is necessary to establish and manage payroll standards that assure accurate processing and adherence to legal requirements.
- Payroll adjustments for new workers, separations, promotions, changes in FTE, merit increases and other pay modifications are processed.
- Configure and maintain the payroll system to ensure compliance with government regulations and accuracy in processing payments.
- Payroll processing systems must be implemented, maintained, and reviewed to guarantee timely and correct processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Adheres to and evaluates payroll processes and procedures, and suggests process enhancements.
- Performs all duties necessary to complete semi-monthly and monthly payroll, including data processing and maintenance, payroll calculation, payment distribution, administration of tax forms, deposits and filings, foreign allowances, quick payments, and so forth.
- It is important to pay suppliers, unions and other third parties as quickly as and accurately as contractual obligations or the law require.
- Responds to enquiries from outside sources seeking payroll information, including those involving the verification of employment and wages, tax notifications, garnishment questions, etc.
- Performs all responsibilities related to time reporting that are necessary, including administering the system for gathering time and processing and assigning labor.
- It is necessary to be familiar with labor and payroll tax legislation, garnishment regulations, payroll recordkeeping requirements, and other related topics. Deltek and Oracle system knowledge and experience are highly preferred.

- A 4-year degree in finance, business administration, or a closely related subject, or three or more additional years of relevant experience
- ADP1+ years of hands-on experience in establishing and administering processes in an HRIS is necessary, as well as an associate’s degree in business administration, personnel resources, human services, accounting, or an equivalent field.
- Shown ability to multitask, maintain discretion, manage deadlines, and adhere to corporate ethics.
