An intensive search is underway to find a document processor. The Document Processor ensures that the firm’s high standards for customer service are satisfied by providing document processing services to internal and external clients.

Qualifications:
- Use software to convert physical paper files to electronic ones and carry out document cleansing tasks.
- Just do what you normally do when given instructions. All duties, paperwork, system entries, and filings must be finished for proper completion.
- Contribute by joining a group that determines industry-wide service benchmarks.
- Maintains documents and makes file conversions using either specialized conversion software or industry-standard applications.
- Analyze and understand insurance paperwork, as well as update data in a proprietary computer system.
- Facilitate the sharing of data and records inside the organization to keep all parties informed.
- All prints and proofreads are done expertly to meet precision targets. A Document Processing Supervisor may request an audit or reproof of completed tasks.
- Edit and reformat complex papers based on rough drafts in handwriting, computer files, or other media. Upload and manage your data with the help of document scanning and high-tech software.
- Files, documents, and database/system information must be maintained both digitally and physically, and reports must be generated as required.
- Keep up a high level of precision and output under severe limitations.
Skills:
- At least three years of experience with word processing are necessary, along with knowledge of desktop publishing and a preference for two years working in a law firm or similar legal setting.
- At least 65 wpm of accurate typing required, as well as exceptional word processing abilities, including perfect grammar and spelling.
- Ability to think of new ideas, come up with novel approaches, or improve upon established notions is essential.
- All features of desktop publishing or design products such as PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio must be mastered.
- A basic understanding of printing and production processes and a firm grasp on graphic design and layout skills are prerequisites.
