Full-Time Administrative Assistant (Expanded Care Office Hours) – Al-Ghardaqah
Job Description
During the patient’s office visit, the medical office assistant serves as a patient liaison, assuring the patient’s comfort, safety, and privacy. Assisting the physician during a patient visit with suturing, medical equipment delivery, injections, x-rays, scheduling, and tracking patient information are just a few of the responsibilities. Other duties include maintaining the patient care and staff work areas and helping with office tasks as directed by the department supervisor.

Qualifications:
- aids in completing “”end of day balancing/closing”” and getting deposits ready for courier pickup.
- Medical Dimensions’ Research Coding and Billing Communications to the Clinic and Prompt Response to All Communications.
- Greet and check out patients, make follow-up appointments, and gather necessary paperwork.
- As needed, you may also be asked to undertake clerical or administrative duties such as filing, greeting visitors, arranging appointments, entering data, and registering patients.
- Takes payments for services rendered, such as co-insurance and deductibles, and posts transactions and completes paperwork.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying, collating, and assembling projects as required.
- The urgency of calls is evaluated and calls are redirected accordingly.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, which includes troubleshooting, cleaning, stocking, and reordering.
- Constant communication with directors, managers, and committee members can be ensured by typing memos, letters, position summaries, flowcharts, graphs, deviation reports, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for setting up appointments for referrals as needed or directed by the physician.
Skills:
- A working knowledge of computers, printers, and fax machines is necessary for this position.
- requires a high level of critical thinking and the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Possessing both a high school graduation and a year of medical assistant training is preferred.
- At least three years of experience working as a medical office assistant is preferred.
- Being ability to work in a high-pressure environment and respond appropriately is essential.
