The Accounts Payable Manager oversees all accounts payable processes for the company, ensuring prompt payment of vendor bills and expenditure vouchers while also keeping correct records and control reports. The Accounts Payable Manager communicates with workers, suppliers, and customers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:
- Keeping up with the Joneses Accounts Payable and Procurement activities, as well as internal control implementation, documentation, and monitoring.
- Review lease agreements and understand lease conditions (deposits, abatements, TI allowances, rent schedules, share of property taxes, CAM).
- Evaluate current processes and systems and offer modifications to increase efficiency, maintain proper job segregation, and internal controls.

- Support regional managers with buying activities such as requesting quotes, selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, establishing new vendor accounts, and maintaining existing client relationships.
- Prior to processing, research financial information and/or paperwork inconsistencies (e.g., purchase orders, suppliers, invoices).
- Controlling the month-end close of accounts payable ensures that all procedures are performed on time and within the company’s time constraints.
- Supervise the accounts payable department, including recruiting, training, assessing performance, and suggesting personnel actions to ensure appropriate and effective workforce.
- To address procedural and technical difficulties, you must assign assignments, evaluate the quality of the job performed, and make decisions about how to continue. The outcomes of work should be monitored and metrics should be reported to management.
- In responsibility of ensuring that all accounts payable (check, ACH, credit card, and wire transfer) transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner across a variety of locations (national and regional).

- To effectively perform all of the functions of the job, an undergraduate degree and two years of managerial or supervisory experience in accounts payable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the employer, are required.
