The Account Director plays a crucial role in our sales team and is responsible for generating revenue across digital, social, print, and platforms through prospect identification, strategy development, presentation preparation, package and schedule negotiations, and reporting results and problems to management. We’re on the lookout for a driven Sales professional that can take charge of accounts at every level, from direct customers to external agencies, and provide them with comprehensive, innovative solutions across our whole product line. - Responsible for driving revenue by selling integrated packages across platforms including video, social, print, digital, mobile, tablet, and event-based programs.
- Conceive of, plan, and implement potential other solutions to provide the client a taste of what’s doable.
- Business plans should be made on a yearly and quarterly basis to guide revenue growth and strategy throughout the entire account portfolio.
- Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at advertising agencies and their clients.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales communication and negotiating process, including providing accurate and timely business estimates, projections, and administrative documents to upper management.
- Co-create and execute innovative solutions for clients with the Marketing Services team to maximize sales efforts.
- Keep important internal stakeholders (e.g., split partners, finance, marketing, etc.) updated on account status, proposals, personnel changes, etc.
- To effectively transmit the Company’s message to clients, use marketing and sales collateral, graphic presentations, research reports, and sales support data.
- Locate prospective buyers in the specified industry niches, engage them in conversation, and persistently pursue a sale.
- successful individual sales contributor capable of prospecting and selling into the mid-market with a high level of proficiency.
- Must be results-oriented, take the necessary actions to accomplish objectives, and assume responsibility for circumstances as necessary.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
- There must be a minimum of two to four years of expertise in platform-integrated outside sales.
- Capable of working on multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks, and keeping track of time effectively while maintaining high standards of quality in all output.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, providing correct work, and sticking with projects until completion.
