Job Description

The Account Director plays a crucial role in our sales team and is responsible for producing revenue across digital, social, print, and platforms through prospect identification, strategy development, presentation preparation, program package and schedule negotiation, and feedback to management. We’re on the lookout for a driven Sales professional that can take charge of accounts at every level, from direct customers to partner agencies, and provide them with comprehensive strategic solutions encompassing all of our offerings. This individual has a strong desire to succeed in sales and to do better than expected.

  • Work with the Marketing Services team to create and deliver creative solutions for clients in order to maximize sales efforts.
  • Revenue is generated by the sale of bundled products across platforms including as video, social media, print, digital, mobile, tablet, and event-based programming.
  • Develop long-term plans on a quarterly and yearly basis to steer revenue growth and account portfolio management.
  • Successful individual sales contributor with a high level of expertise in prospecting and selling to the mid-market.
  • Manage all parts of the sales communication and negotiating process, as well as keep senior management up to date with accurate and timely business estimates, projections, and administrative documentation.
  • Connect with the key decision-makers in advertising at both the agency and client levels and keep the dialogue flowing.
  • Effectively convey the Company’s message to clients via marketing and sales materials, graphic presentations, research reports, and sales support data.
  • Inform important internal stakeholders (e.g., split partners, finance, marketing, etc.) about the status of accounts, proposals, staff changes, etc.
  • Create and present alternate solution concepts that accurately reflect the client’s potential.
  • It’s your job to find potential clients working in the industries you’ve chosen, engage them in conversation, and convince them to make a purchase.


  • Possess excellent written and vocal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact confidently and effectively with audiences of all sizes.
  • Outside sales experience with connected platforms is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, including the capacity to multitask, prioritize, and efficiently manage time while also ensuring accuracy of work via attention to detail.
  • Must be results-oriented, take the necessary actions to accomplish objectives, and assume responsibility for circumstances as necessary.
  • Proven record of meeting deadlines, ensuring accuracy, and following through effectively on tasks.
